Terms and conditions for using Grewp

Please read these terms carefully before using Grewp. By using our service, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Grewp, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Grewp after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
2. Description of Service
Grewp is a community organising platform that allows users to create and join groups ('grewps'), organise events, manage RSVPs, and connect with local communities.
We provide tools for group owners and admins to manage membership, events, and group settings.
3. User Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activities that occur under your account.
You must be at least 18 years old or have parental/guardian consent to use Grewp.
4. User Conduct
You agree not to use Grewp for any illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable purpose.
You will not post content that infringes on intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or other rights of third parties.
You will not attempt to interfere with, compromise, or disrupt the service or servers.
5. Child Safety
Grewp has zero tolerance for Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE). We strictly prohibit any content, imagery, or conduct that sexualises, exploits, endangers, or abuses children.
This includes but is not limited to: Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM); grooming or solicitation of minors; any content depicting minors in sexual situations; sharing or requesting sexual imagery of anyone under 18.
Violations will result in immediate account termination, removal of all content, and reporting to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC), the Internet Watch Foundation (IWF), or relevant law enforcement authorities.
If you become aware of any CSAE content or behaviour on Grewp, report it immediately via the in-app Report feature or by emailing support@grewp.org.
6. Content
You retain ownership of content you post on Grewp, but grant us a license to use, display, and distribute that content as necessary to provide the service.
We do not endorse or take responsibility for user-generated content.
We reserve the right to remove content that violates these terms or our community guidelines.
7. Group Management
Group owners and admins are responsible for managing their groups in accordance with these terms.
We may remove groups or restrict access if they violate our terms or community standards.
Group visibility settings (discoverable vs. private) are controlled by group owners.
8. Privacy
Your use of Grewp is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.
By using Grewp, you consent to our collection and use of information as described in the Privacy Policy.
9. Disclaimers
Grewp is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
We are not responsible for the conduct of users or the content they post.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Grewp shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
11. Termination
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using account settings.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms.
Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately.
12. Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom.
Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the courts of the United Kingdom.
