Keeping Grewp Safe for Everyone

Grewp is built to help local communities organise and connect. These guidelines ensure our platform remains safe, welcoming, and positive for all users.

Child Safety: Zero Tolerance Policy

Grewp has an absolute zero-tolerance policy for Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE).

Strictly Prohibited Content:

  • Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) of any kind
  • Grooming, solicitation, or enticement of minors
  • Any sexual or suggestive content involving minors
  • Sharing or requesting sexual imagery of anyone under 18
  • Content that sexualises, exploits, or endangers children
  • Facilitating contact between adults and minors for sexual purposes

Our Response to Violations:

  • Immediate and permanent account termination
  • Removal of all associated content
  • Reporting to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC)
  • Reporting to the Internet Watch Foundation (IWF)
  • Cooperation with law enforcement authorities
  • Preservation of evidence as required by law

How to Report:

If you encounter any CSAE content or suspicious behaviour, report it immediately:

  • In-app: Use the Report button on any content, user, or group
  • Email: support@grewp.org
  • Emergency: Contact local law enforcement directly

General Community Standards

Beyond child safety, we maintain standards to ensure Grewp remains a positive space for community organising.

Be Respectful

  • Treat all community members with respect and dignity
  • No harassment, bullying, or intimidation
  • No hate speech based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexuality, or disability
  • Respect others' privacy and personal boundaries

Keep It Legal

  • No illegal activities or content
  • No promoting violence or dangerous activities
  • No fraud, scams, or deceptive practices
  • Respect intellectual property rights

Be Authentic

  • Use your real identity - no impersonation
  • Don't create multiple accounts for deceptive purposes
  • Be honest in your group and event descriptions

Prohibited Content

  • Pornography or sexually explicit material
  • Graphic violence or gore
  • Content promoting self-harm or suicide
  • Spam, malware, or phishing attempts
  • Misinformation that could cause harm

Reporting Violations

We rely on our community to help keep Grewp safe. If you see content or behaviour that violates these guidelines:

All reports are reviewed by our team. We may not be able to respond to every report individually, but we take all concerns seriously.

Enforcement

Violations of these guidelines may result in:

  • Content removal
  • Warning to the user
  • Temporary account suspension
  • Permanent account termination
  • Reporting to relevant authorities (for illegal content)

The severity of the action depends on the nature and frequency of the violation. Child safety violations always result in immediate, permanent bans and reporting to authorities.
